Hello Lovelies!
This is my first ever OPI nail varnish and I have to say that I'm so impressed with it! I ordered it along with one other OPI and a China Glaze nail varnish which were recommended to me on twitter, but I'll do a post on them once I've had a chance to use them.
I liked a lot of the colours in the Germany Collection but I decided on Schnapps Out of It! because the warm burnt orange colour just screamed Autumn to me, which I'm so excited about because, I prefer Autumn and Winter to Spring and Summer!
It applied well and evenly in one coat, which I believe is due to OPI's gel formula, but I did apply two out of habit, but it didn't make any difference because the colour was already completely opaque with one coat.
When looking at the colour in the bottle it seems to have a bluish iridescent pearl throughout the orange colour which when applied gives it a gorgeous cool toned effect, which is unusual for an orange, which is generally associated with a bright or warm tone. To me this makes it perfectly understated for the colder months. Once applied there is no obvious pearl seen, it just leaves the nails nice and shiny!
I think this is going to be my favourite nail colour this Autumn!
