Hey Lovelies!
I've been thinking a lot recently about how I haven't really used much of highstreet makeup products for a couple of years. It's not because I'm snobby or that I will only put something that costs more than £20 on my face (...that doesn't sound quite right, but moving on). If you knew me personally you'd know I'm much closer to slob than snob!
It's basically because I think that for the most part you get what you pay for, and I save up for things that I really want. Honestly makeup is just about all that I spend my money on. If you've seen any of my 'outfit of the day' posts, more often than not I'm wearing H&M or Primark, and I don't shop for clothes, accessories or shoes very often. I am probably the only living female that could care less about shoes. My one pair of black heels that I wear out all of the time were £20 from New Look and I've had them for almost 4 years! I barely look after my hair either. So anyway that's why most of my makeup posts are about MAC, or my favourite Chanel.
I thought it was about time that I really started to look for the hidden gems in the highstreet, because I know that there is some! I read plenty of blog posts about highstreet products that people love, and I see them in use by beauty youtubers, so I trust that they are good!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - £3.99
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer - £6.99
Maybelline the Falsies Black Drama Mascara - £7.99
Revlon ColourStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin - £12.49
Kate Moss for Rimmel London Lipstick - Shade 16 - £5.49
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Cappuccino - £7.49
L'Oreal Color Riche Nails - Beige Boheme - £4.99
Maybelline Dream Terra Sun Bronzer - Tiger - £5.99
I'm not going to rush out and buy this all at once, but firstly I have my eye definitely on the Stay Matte Powder. I use a Chanel Powder just now and I love it, the finish is unbelievably gorgeous, but I'd rather keep it for special occasions instead of every day.
I'm keen to try the Lumi Touch concealer as well. I use the Clinique pen concealer just now and I love it but it's £16.00. So a cheaper alternative would be good!
Any highstreet product recommendations? or had a bad experience with something on my wishlist? Let me know lovelies!

The Revlon Colourstay is really nice :) a great high street buy... But you're right, you get what you pay for! And it's a great feeling to save up and buy yourself something nice from Chanel, I'm going to do a Chanel lip pallette review later, it's an eBay find so I got away with paying full price!
