Hello Lovelies!

Until the 10th of September, House of Fraser is running a competition in which bloggers can WIN £200 worth of HOF vouchers by putting together a look from their new season collections.

Below is the look I have put together:

Military style shirt - Warehouse
Cardigan - Mint Velvet
Jeans - French Connection
Scarf - Coast
Shoes - Pied a Terre
Necklace - Melissa Odabash
Watch - Michael Kors
Bag - Radley

Big on trend this season is Military style.  Although, don't go all army ranger on me, because this season you should be mixing military style pieces with classic and girly styles to give it a new and updated feel.  This autumn you'll be able to get your hands on plenty of military inspired clothing ranging from shirts, to jackets and boots - and comes in your classic Khaki or an array of on trend colours.  I loved this warehouse shirt, because of the colour and the style, it could be worn either casually - as I have styled here, or it could be worn with disco pants and platforms for a night on the town - I'm a big lover of versatile fashion!

Blazers can still be seen everywhere, and they are definitely not going anywhere any time soon, and I am already a fan of the waterfall front style.  What attracted me to this piece is that it's actually a cardigan!  So not only is it keeping on trend, it'll keep you warm too! Very practical in my humble opinion.

Burgundy is also going to be big this season, even with this colour spilling over into makeup trends!

Rose Gold also seems to be becoming a bigger trend this coming Autumn, with it becoming more and more available - from high-end jewellery brands to highstreet.  And as an avid lover of rose gold, I'm loving that it's more accessible.

I chose the bag and the jeans because they're something that can stay with you season to season, which I think is very important things to have in your wardrobe.  Also the bag is actually in-keeping with the military trend due to the studding, but it's still classic enough to carry with you for a long time.

Personally I would wear this for a girls day out shopping, or going out for lunch or coffee.  The cardigan and scarf keep it practical for chilly Scottish wind and it is just an all round practical daytime outfit.  The heels aren't to high for walking, which I like, as being 5ft'1 I do like a little heel for daytime sometimes.  So not only have I managed to find a completely on trend outfit, I've made it practical for myself, my style and my environment.  Watch out HOF Glasgow, I'm coming for you!
