I did say in my last post that I would get what I wore and how I did my makeup for my interview up, so here it is!  I wanted to keep my makeup really simple.  As in, you would hardly notice I was wearing any, but I'd look fresh and put together.  So it was a kind of "no makeup, makeup" if you will.  Well as much as I can manage that kind of look, with the amount of concealer and powder I tend to need to use you can usually start to see it.  But I thought fresh and natural looking was the best option!  I just did my usual for my hair and curled it.  I used my enrapture totem styler on 2-2-2 and flipped my head upside down and brushed the curls out for a softer look. For my outfit, I obviously had to look put together and professional as it was a formal interview.  I wore plain black dress trousers, and my little black heels from Next that I've been wearing until my foot is completely healed.  They're a good height, not too high at all, but definitely not a kitten heel (shudder).  I didn't want to look like I was going to a boring office or a funeral either so I chose to wear my Chanel inspired bouclĂ© jacket from Primark.  I bought it quite a while ago so I don't think it will still be available, but I love that it was a total bargain!  I also chose to wear a bright colour because I thought white or more black would just be too boring.  The top is from Warehouse and I got it in Spring 2012, so it definitely wont be available anymore.  It is a little bit too big for me because I was heavier then, but I thought it was best if I wasn't wearing something really fitted or super tight.  I didn't want to go crazy with the accessories so I just wore my pearl collar necklace from New Look and my simple stud earrings from Accessorise (I wear them 24/7, I don't ever take them out unless I'm wearing big statement earrings).  And I took my Mulberry bag - to be honest I haven't used another bag since I got it, but I think it looks really good with this kind of look! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I did look professional enough for my interview - because I did get the job - and I was rabbiting on like a crazy person!
