All the products in the top photograph are a bit squint but that's exactly how I feel right now.  If you don't follow me on twitter or instagram, you may not know I got a kitten on Monday.  Since then I haven't had a proper sleep.  She likes to lull me into a false sense of security by settling for half an hour then running around like a demon possessed at all hours for hours.  My main goal with this makeup was to get rid of the extreme dark circles under my eyes!

I started with my Dior Nude BB Cream as base, which I love.  It's so light but manages to give a fairly decent amount of coverage and it's glowy - exactly what I need for my tired skin.  I then went to town with my Clinique Airbrush Concealer under my eyes and on my lids.  When I'm tired, my entire eyes get dark and I look like I've come off worse in a fight.

To finish the skin I tried Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot, which is a new purchase for me.  I really like the finish of it.  I'm not really sure how it's done it but it's diffused the light really nicely and you can't really see my pores. I also didn't need to re-apply for around 5 hours.  It needs a little more road testing but this may be my go-to highstreet powder.  Rimmel Stay Matte just doesn't work for me.  I then used my Dior "Diorskin Nude Tan De Poudre"...or bronzer as I like to call it.  I really just stuck to the high points of the skin with this.  I then patted a little bit of my BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector where I wanted a little more glow.

I used my trusty MAC Lingering Brow Pencil, and used the Maybelline Brow Drama brow gel over the top.  I like the effect, I've kind of managed to get a fuller more natural looking brow which is of course the main goal.  It's the first time I've tried a brow gel, as I wasn't sure how it would work as my brows are so sparse, but I quite like the result.  I then whacked on a couple of coats of MAXFactor 2000 Calorie Mascara, another new purchase for me.  I'd heard good things about it, but it still doesn't compare to my Diorshow Overcurl.  It'll still be fine for my everyday mascara though.

I was still looking a little bit ill, so I dusted a little bit of NYX Powder Blush in Spice on the apples of my cheeks and finished off with some KORRES Lip Butter in Plum.  I think it's a nice, natural everyday look with just that hint of Autumnal warmth in the lips and skin.
